VoIP for campus, MTU/MDU, and hotel/motel
The SN4740 IP-enables 16 to 128 analog phones. The device offers hospitality, apartment-building, transportation, mining, and campus operations a quick-and-easy way to convert their phone system to unified communications (UC). The solution replaces outdated PSTN trunks with state-of-the-art SIP trunk telephony.

Extra Miles
�This gateway goes the extra mile,� Burt Patton explained. �The SN740 provides dial-tone for a plethora of analog phones previously installed in hotels, apartments, military bases, parking lots, roadways, railways, mining tunnels, campus environments�you-name-it . The installed gateway can extend FXS lines to handsets more than 6 miles away.�

Message Waiting�
The SN4740 supports message waiting indication (MWI). The feature is essential for hotels, motels, multi-tenant-units and multi-dwelling-units (MTU/MDU), and similar business operations, yet many VoIP products do NOT support MWI.

Double the Power
Every SN4740 SKU offers an optional redundant power supply. For system designers, integrators, or network engineers, the added reliability of a redundant power supply makes product selection an easy decision.

Cloud Orchestration
As with all SmartNode-brand products, services can be provisioned, orchestrated, monitored, managed, and scaled up or down�all in real time�from the Patton Cloud.
